How does jewelry rental work?
Renting jewelry from Elgrissy Diamonds is simple. Explore our rental collection and choose the pieces that complement your event, outfit, or personal style. Select your preferred rental dates, with a minimum rental period of one week. Reservations can be made in advance, subject to availability. Your jewelry will be shipped securely by UPS before your rental begins. Once your rental period is over, repack the pieces in their original packaging and return them using the prepaid shipping label included with your order.
How long can I keep my rental jewelry?
The standard rental period is one week from the delivery date. If you’d like to extend your rental period, contact us at elgrissydiamonds@gmail.com or schedule a Jewelry Rental Zoom Consultation. Extensions are subject to availability and any upcoming reservations for the piece.
Is a deposit required to rent jewelry?
A security hold may be required for certain rental pieces depending on their value and your rental history. If applicable, a temporary authorization will be placed on your card for approximately 10%–20% of the jewelry’s value. This is not a purchase charge. Once the jewelry is returned on time and in its original condition, the authorization will be released.
How will my rental jewelry be delivered?
Rental jewelry is shipped securely via UPS Express or UPS Overnight, and a signature is required at delivery. Depending on the order, we may arrange delivery to a nearby UPS location for secure pickup. If your order is being delivered directly to your home or another address, please make sure you or an authorized recipient is available to sign for the package.
How do I return my rental jewelry?
Please keep the original jewelry boxes and shipping materials, as you’ll need them for the return. At the end of your rental period, place each piece back in its original box, secure everything inside the provided UPS package, and attach the prepaid return label. Take the package to a staffed UPS location for shipment. Do not leave rental jewelry in an unattended UPS drop box.
